Closure Latest (26th March 2020)

Although we are closed for the foreseeable future due to the Covid-19 lockdown, you can enjoy a taste of our cooking.

ROAST ONION GRAVY

Exceptional Closures

Please note that the Hovingham Inn will be closed for 1 week in May, from Monday 4th though to Tuesday 12th May, reopening on Wednesday 13th.

We will also be closed all day on Saturday 1st August.

Saturday Lunches

We are now serving a superb lunch and a great selection of local ales and wines on the first Saturday of every month to coincide with Hovingham Village Market. We will also be serving lunches on some other Saturdays – please call or email for availability (+44 (0)1653 628428/eat@hovinghaminn.co.uk).

Forthcoming market dates for 2020 are: 4th April, 2nd May, 6th June, 4th July, 1st August, 5th September, 3rd October, 7th November, 5th December, 19th December.

Visiting The Hovingham Inn

To avoid disappointment, table reservations are required where possible and are essential on Friday and Saturday evenings as well as for Sunday lunch. Walk in customers are very welcome, but we cannot guarantee a table or waiting time.

To make a table booking, please call the pub direct on +44 (0)1653 628428 or email eat@hovinghaminn.co.uk. For parties of five or more guests we will require a £10 per person deposit.

Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking. We are happy to adapt dishes wherever possible. However, vegetarian, vegan and lactose-free diets require advance notice.

Children are welcome in both the bar and dining room. We do not offer a children’s menu, but will happily adapt dishes where possible.

Dogs are welcome in the bar area. Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the pub.
